Alex Vincent Textiles specialises in hand and machine embroidery with a focus on hand processed, sustainable and accessible slow textile design.
With a strong interest in historic textiles, he is constantly exploring natural dyes, growing his own flax and hand spinning yarns. His main side of his business is his map series, embroidering heirloom mid-century Ordnance Survey maps for homewares, framed artwork and gifts.
AVT has an aim to have both craftsmanship and sustainability at an accessible level and is available for bespoke personalised map embroidery and is based in Nottingham.
