Shallow bowl thrown on the wheel from fine white porcelain, with elegant turned foot ring. This unique handmade bowl is decorated with masses of holes resembling barnacle shells on coastal rocks. Each hole is pierced and bored through carefully stretching the porcelain to give a raised edge to the hole. Suitable for fruit or flowers. Placed near to a light source or on a sunny windowsill the holes allow light to glow through ad reveal the beauty of the porcelain. Height 8cm, diam 24cm .
